Till the end of 18th Century two Pancharathragama pandits of Bhardwaja gotram namely 1. Sri Venkatarangacharya 2. Sri Bhatacharya were maintained and performed pujas according to Pancharathragamam.
Later on the British Government handed over to the management of this temple to Smt.Vadwan Rani, Chemudu Estate, Visakhapatnam. During this period the temple managed in a glorified manner. Later on even till today every year they are giving Clothes and Mangalasoothrams for Kalyanam.
From 1935 the temple is under management of Devadaya - Dharmadaya Sakha, Endowment Department of Andhra Pradesh.
